Modular Converter Design
Independent of the rotating speed the CONCYCLE® wind system safeguards continuous power generation. The system is characterised by a highly uniform power output in the partial load range s well as constant torque at nominal operation. The system effectively minimises dynamic torques and the related forces acting on the mechanical components and can therefore positively influence both the product life and the availability noticeably. Due to specific reactive power management during steady operation and dynamic short circuit current supply, in case of mains failure, the system complies to the present and future grid connection requirements.

Continuous further technical development adapted to the customers' requirements is one main reason why the CONCYCLE® system is installed in the largest wind power turbines world-wide. The CONCYCLE® wind converter is available for the doubly-fed as well as for the fully rated converter design.
